Maths
; In maths this week we had to do this really tricky question it's a word one and will take for ever to type so I will make it shorter  so packets of nachos and 127 kids who wanted it how many orders does each packet need to be shared into. The  answer was, but  you have 10 seconds to answer it yourself 10,  9,  8,  7,  6,  5,  4,  3,  2,  1!!!! The answer is 8 r 1 but the remainder is actually a extra one in case someone forgot to put there order.  I clicked to this answer at the end.

Writing: In writing this week we wrote our end of year slide here it is it is not finished by the time of writing but I could be while you are reading this. Heres a link LINK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Reading: we M.D C.D so no reading.

Spelling: I have not got my test results on my list but I did make it to O so i'm happy.

Maths: In maths this week we pretty much just did F.I.O the one I did  what sea creature was the fastest so we had some sea creatures with how far they can travel in an hour and we had some questions like who was the fastest and stuff like that.

Writing: In writing this week I finished my free writing, about waffles I have finished my drawings as well it is all done.

Reading: In reading this week we did our usual stuff so nothing exiting in that.

Passion: This week we are doing our passions presentation I am so exited I did clay  and I mad a turtle and it's shell had a wave pattern.

Maths: In maths this week we brought back division and thats pretty much what we did also we did our warm ups.

Writing: This week in writing we did free writing my story is about waffles and we are going to draw stuff for our finished piece.

Reading: We did a M.D C.D set up this week so we didn't really do that much.

Spelling: In spelling this week I am not sure of what I got but this was my second time on N and i think I did well.I am all so so close to my spelling goal that is O.

Maths: In  maths this week we did a maths test and our quick 25 the maths test was boring to be honest and the quick 25 was ok.

Writing: In writing this week we did free writing mine was about waffles yup thats right waffles.

Book week: This week is book week so we didn't really do our usual set up we did a M.D C.D set up but that doesn't matter so on Monday I was sick so I missed the book quiz. On Tuesday we did the M.D C.D so it's just Wednesday to talk about and Thursday i'm writing this on Thursday so it's just Wednesday to talk about. On Wednesday was the dress up the person reading to us and the booknic. I dressed up as a kid in ravenclaw a harry potter house  and my favorite dress up was the giant teddy bear.The guy who was reading to us was the mayor he read us winny the poo. The b ooknic was fun my family didn't come like always cause of work but it was still fun with Dylans mum and I got chocolate fish and strawberries so it was awesome.So that's all.

Maths: We did this thing where one person that was me holds up a card with pictures on it and then when the timer runs out I turn it over and ask questions and that pretty much all we did.

Reading: Next week is book week and we are doing some stuff related to book week this week we have had a question about this book weeks theme pirates in the daily notices there is a lot off challenges and lots of more stuff  for book week.

Writing: this week our only writing was free writing I wrote about my heads thoughts because i think of a lot weird stuff and yeah.

Spelling: In spelling this week i think i did good because last week i only got 3 wrong so I think I did well.

Maths: In maths this week Mrs  bryant brought a new activity into the class we write 1 to 25 in our maths book and a person calls out questions it was Dylan in our group and the group with the most point (correct answers) at the end of term wins my group the bad jellies are winning.

Reading: we didn't do any reading because we were doing a must do can do set up.

Writing: In writing this week we did thank you cards for the parents at camp mine was to Wayne Kayden's dad he did a great job.

Spelling: I,m not sure what i got in spelling this week but I think I did good.

maths: In maths this week we pretty much did our warm up activities due to it being the last week of the term.

Writing: In writing we wrote a poem mine is called goodbye world it's about an old lady dyeing in hospital  heres the the first line, here I lay in a bed as I await to be known as dead.

Reading:  Once again didn't really do reading but the  book i'm reading is eric vale.

Spelling i'm not shore what i got but I think I did good.

TERM THREE

 Term review

So the end of the end of the term is coming up and well i'm talk about the term actually you're going to read about it. This term we did production but i'm not going to talk to much about because I did blog on go read  it, so any way the production was really fun blah blah blah go read it. Also cross country was on this term  it was hard and when I say hard I mean hard also there was a last minute track change due to flooding and we ran around the block. But at the end i felt horribal I all most fell over and I felt really light heeded and I felt like the gravity was really weak and I was about to float up into space at any moment.So the term was really fun and, yeah.

MUSIC

In term 2 we did music and we performed in front of the whole  school, well maybe not the whole school there could of been a few away. So any way I was on the electric guitar with some other people. There were singers, drums, base, electric guitar and key board these were our instruments our song was heathens but we had to change the lyrics to a little more suitable for kids. It was hard learning to do the strings. I was fine with the timing. The space on the stage was so cramped I only had like 2 centimeters, ok maybe thats a little  off but still we had little space. Also we were doing it with a whole class so we had to share the instruments and the drums well there were 2 drums and like 14 drummers you do the maths and in the practices 1 person would have a normal guitar that was normally me but I didn't mind it, infact I wanted to be that person. Our strings that we pulled was easy to remember once I got it, but... I can't remember it at all now.

I was really nervous when i was doing my speech and is you were not I think you're an alien. My speech is about how were not doing enough to protect our native birds.

                         Production

This year we did a production in the production I was a talking tui bird. The hardest part of the production is the dance was the dance for me our dance did look cool but it was hard doing it in those costumes. On the first dress refusal my beak came off it's like a quarter of a meter. the birds on the side is what i looked like.
My line was easy as it was tut tut tut we don't want to spread THAT story it will remind tane of when we ignored his request.

So lines was the least of my worries even though I didn't have any worries about the production. The props were so cool the background was so cool as well.So over all i enjoyed it.

maths: In maths this week we are learning about fractions and how to split numbers with fractions for example 1/4 of 20 is 5.

Reading: in reading this week we read a book and filling a work sheet out on our computers my book was Te waka.

Writing: In writing this week  we learnt about similes and there leavels. we got into groups of three and did a level 1 simile and level 2 and level 3.

Production: This week we performed our prodution i was so nervous at first but the I wasn't.

Moari week: ko tenei wiki he wiki reo moari, na reira i tohe Mr gemal ki a matou kai i roto i te moari ko taku tamiti tami ( This week is moari language week so Mr  gemal challenged us to say a food out of our lunch box in moari mine was jam sanwich.

My reflection

Maths: this week in maths we are learning about fractions I am good at fractions and i  enjoyed it.

Production:  In production this week we dressed in our costumes for the practice and the tuis out fit is AWESOME but it is itchy, hot I can barely see through the mask it is also really cool it's one of those love hate things you know what i mean. But they all look the same so you can't really tell which ones me.

spelling: In spelling this week I think i did good also it was really messy and it took a while.

Maths: In maths were are working on decimals BUT it's not that hard I did a top up on decimals and I have gone  from thinking NOOOOOOOOOO to oh okay so yeah. I didn't enjoy doing decimals but didn't not like it.

Reading: In reading this week we were doing our reading we were doing our activity's in the HALL while practicing our production.

Production: This week in production we were practicing in middle block but you all ready know about that, so anyway i'm now in 2 dances.

maths: In maths this week we didn't do that much we mostly did our warm up activity's with Mr  gemall.

writing/reading:We have been working on production posters i am finished mine and I think it looks cool.

Production: In production Mrs  Hobbs is getting our costumes ready other groups like fairys and tumriki have got theirs but Mrs Hobbs told us to get our mums stockings if she has some so on the week end me and mum are probably going to get dark green stockings.

Maths: In maths this week we have pretty much ONLY done mathletics because the tri nation event is on. It is a event of three countries New zealand, Australia and South Africa.

Reading: In reading this week there was no spelling pattern because we were mainly focusing on the spelling b. We also were  learning about static images. It means still picture.

Spelling b: This week it was the spelling b I past k in the spelling b so now i’m L.

Production: In production practices my group, the bird group got rid of one of our dance moves and replaced it i think the new one is better.

Maths: In maths this week we were learning about place value. We did F.I.O on it and more. Place value is one of my ups and i enjoy it.

Writing:  In writing we did a writing and reading activity we had to buddy up with someone and asked questions about each others books there reading and we wrote them down. You will hear more about it in reading.

reading: In reading we did the buddy thing. My book was wonder struck it's my favorite book that I have read so far I love it i'm not finished though. So any way the book activity was fun. We also went on a cool reading website.

Maths:In maths this week we are still learning about division when we started learning about division I was confused now i’m between good and bad.

Reading:In reading this week we did a pocahontas proof reading our spelling pattern is contractions. I understand contractions  there pretty easy.

Writing: We didn’t do any writing but there were the speech finals the speeches were good and had a meaning.

Spelling:I don’t know any of my scores at the moment.

Music: With Mr  gemil we did music again but this time we used instruments and we chose a song ours was heatheans. We each chose a instruments  there was electric guitar, singing, base, key board, and drums. I chose electric guitar.

Large ball skills: With Mrs Hobbs we did large ball skills. We didn't do that much with her because we were focasing on gymsprt.

Gym sports: With Mrs stathern we did gymnasts I improved on all my routines it was my favorite rotation.

Maths: In maths this week we are still learning about division i have got better I think i'm ready to do a division line by myself.

Writing: I shared my speech in I was absolutely nervous I was shaking I had butterflys in my stomach I was having trouble shifting cards I could barely look up I also reed so fast I was nervous.

Reading: No reading due to speeches.

Production: This week the journos shared there play it was about 3 kids sailing the sea while i was watching it I wonderd if we were doing a play and we are in the play i want to be a -ves there will only be 2 though.

Maths: In maths we are still learning about division Mrs bryant putt us in groups there is ? ticks and stars i'm in ?   that means that i'm still not quite sure about division.

Writing: In writing i am almost finished my speech I have researched, wrote it and copied it down on the computer i am really nerves to read it front of the class but i am also exited my. My speech is about how were not doing enough to help our native birds.

Reading: In reading we have done the usual handwriting, weekly spelling   our pattern was long e there is ea,ee, e-e and e.

Spelling:In spelling i got 30/40 i my own list and i did not do the pattern.

Writing:In writing this week we have still been doing our speeches I have done lots of changes to my speech it's like a whole new speech.

Maths: In maths this week we are learning about division we found out that there is 2 sumbles one like this

÷  and another different  we found out that if the question can not split even you there will be a remainder.

Reading: In reading this week we did the usual but with Mrs bryant we did our speeches instead. At the moment i’m reading awful end it’s a good book.

Writing: In writing I started to type up my speech on the computer I am nervous about sharing it in front of the class hopefully I won’t next year.

Reading:In reading this week we have done lots our spelling pattern is “ y” turning into plural.

Writing:In writing this week we mostly did speach research i’m doing where not doing enough to look after our native birds i’m looking at the population of the birds and pests for research.

Maths: In maths this week we have not done that much due to it being the last week. But we did do some with Mrs bryant we learnt a way to make hard times table questions easy, for example 36x5 (30+6)x5 (30x5)+(6x5) 150+30=180 it was fun.

Reading: In reading this week I did brain banks I read about countries and islands ringed by water and how it is quite dangerous I also had to write what 4 things I would want to have if I'm stranded on a desert island with palm trees and a freshwater sauce.I chose to have a phone a flair gun a lot of food and a fishing rod.

Spelling: This week we did not have a spelling pattern but we  did do our list I think I passed which means I could reach my goal.

Next term I am looking forward to getting better at spelling.

Mountain Biking

                                                    Mountain Biking🚲

In week 7 kahakatea team went mountain biking I went on the easy as track and kids track the  easy as  track was my favorite track and the longest the kids  track  is my second favorite track  the    easy as track  has lots of bumps  but only some are uncomfortable  there are lots of hills near the end they can be hard sometimes.The kids track is really short but it is still fun.

History: With Mrs strathern  we were learning about the treaty of wiatungi we made a slide about it here,s mine Treaty of wiatungi         we learnt about pirongia,s rich history as well  

Games: With Mrs hobs we created a games my group made a game could Beep,Tag,Infect  it is sort of like hide and go seek tag with some modifications of cause.

   
Music: With Mr gemal we learnt about  the three musical elements pitch,tempo,dynamics we also learnt about rhythm.

Rm 8 did tempo,Rm 9 did dynamics,Rm 10 did pitch.
We had to perform a rhythm  in front of the       hole school we also had words in it Rm 10  said
integrity Rm 9 said doing the right thing Rm 8 said when no ones watching. At the end of the presentation I felt proud.
